Jr./Sr. High School

Return to 5 Day Instruction

As you likely know by now, our in-person learning students return 5 day a week instruction starting tomorrow.  While masks, social distancing, cleaning, and temperature scans will still occur, we are also retuning to a little bit more sense of normalcy.  As a friendly reminder, please also be sure to include a daily wellness check for your student before sending him/her/them to school.

We are also having a Spirit Week this week!  Please see the details below, and we're looking forward to a great week!

Shane Hartley
Principal, Deer Park Jr/Sr High School

What's New?

While we can't have a Homecoming Dance, Parade, or Pep Rally this year, we're excited to show our school spirit each day through our Spirit Week!

BEFORE-SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES FOR HELP: Beginning this week, teachers will be available to assist students before school.  This Thursday students can enter the building at 7:35 a.m. to get help from teachers.  Please note that students MUST be with a teacher during this entire time, and you may also hear from teachers if your student needs a little extra help.

After this week, teachers will be available Tuesday and Thursday before school for student help.

PRE-ACT UPDATE: The PreACT assessment that was scheduled for October 16th has been postponed.  A new date will be shared with families once it is determined.
