We know there are families who may need a little extra assistance during this most challenging year. Below are several community programs, as well as information about the Deer Park Clothing Closet.
Lighthouse Community Church Outreach Meal
What: Community Outreach Free Meal
Where: Community Lighthouse Church of God

When: Thursday, April 29
5:30 - 7 p.m.
Who: ANYONE is welcome- no registration needed. All are welcome to drive Thru for a free meal.
Joshua's Place at Rivers Crossing
The Joshua’s Place Co-op at Rivers Crossing is simple:
- Show up at your appointment time (all appointments are every other week on Thursday evenings). This keeps us from having longer waits and helps maintain social distancing.
- Guests Pay $4 dollars cash and then submit their order for groceries, frozen meats, hygiene items, diapers and household items of their choice on our order form totaling $50-$60 worth of items.
- While the order is being bagged up in our stock room guests meet with a Joshua’s Place leaders for about 8-10 minutes so they can get to know you.
- You pick up your bags of items that you selected on your way out.

NEEDS Food Pantry
The NEEDS Food Pantry, located at Kenwood Baptist, is offering evening appointments for families who may be looking for assistance from 5:30-7:30 PM on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
Individuals and families who live within the NEEDS service area seeking assistance can visit the Pantry during business hours to receive food and to request financial assistance with rent and mortgage payments, utility bills, and medical expenses. Anyone in our Deer Park and Kenwood zip codes can call 513-891-0850 to make an evening appointment.
Deer Park Clothing Room
The Deer Park Clothing Room at the Holmes Building is open for families to shop for FREE clothing items Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to-3:30 p.m. In an effort to maintain proper distancing and cleaning protocols, only one family will be allowed in the clothing room at a time and mask must be worn.
