Midterm of 4th Quarter
Good afternoon,
Believe it or not, the end of this week marks the midterm of the 4th quarter. With all of the preparation for the next rounds of state testing along with the handful of events we have coming up, the last half of this quarter will likely feel like it's flying by!
As with all midterms, please take some time this week to check (or re-check) your student's grades. Please feel free to reach out to teachers, counselors, and administrators with any questions or concerns!
Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Shane Hartley
Principal, Deer Park Jr/Sr High School

What's New
NO STATE TESTING THIS WEEK, WILL RESUME NEXT WEEK
Our students did a great job last week bringing fully charged laptops and a great mentality for our first week of testing. THANK YOU for all of your help! Testing resumes next week, and a reminder for times and subjects will be sent out in next week's Wildcat Weekly.
PROM ANNOUNCEMENT
Last Friday, we released more details regarding Prom 2021. If you missed it, please see this link for more information.
SENIOR EVENT INFORMATION
Last year, due to the Pandemic and school being remote, we started having a weekly press release to update parents for Senior events (Academic Signing Day, Senior Awards, Graduation, etc.). We are planning on continuing that this year! Parents of Seniors - Please look for those releases every Tuesday!
STUDENT FEES
In the past, we have often been able to use events like Homecoming and Prom to help parents/guardians remember to pay student fees. With no Prom or Homecoming over the last year, however, unfortunately many student fees have gone unpaid. Please consider this a friendly reminder to check and pay for your child's student fees. Thank you for your help! Here is a link to the PaySchools website, and please feel free to reach out to the front office (513-891-0010) for any help or questions. We greatly appreciate it!
