Jr./Sr. High School

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all of our Deer Park moms!  We appreciate all that you do for your children, and we get to see the fruits of your labor as our students come to school.  Your work is tireless, and your love is limitless.  Thank you for all you do!

Have a great week!

Sincerely,

Shane Hartley

What's New

SUMMER LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Earlier this week, we sent out a comprehensive and detailed explanation for all of our Summer learning opportunities.  If you missed that information, please click here to learn about our Academic Recovery "A Plus" Summer Program, Summer School Credit Recovery, and ACT Bootcamp.

If you're interested in the ACT Bootcamp, click the link above for more information OR follow this link to sign up for one of our summer sessions!

SENIOR EVENT INFORMATION

We will continue to release information for Senior end-of-year events on each Tuesday for the rest of the school year.  For a link to this past week's information, please click here.  Please remember that ALL seniors are invited to Senior Awards (May 25th), since we will NOT know the winners ahead of time.

HIGH SCHOOL EXAMS

Next week, we will be releasing our exam schedule for the week of May 24th.  As we wrap up the last 2 weeks of school before exams, please be on the lookout as well for your student to bring home an exam exemption form too!  PLEASE NOTE: Junior High students do not take exams unless they are enrolled in a high school level class (such as French or Spanish).

STUDENT FEES

In the past, we have often been able to use events like Homecoming and Prom to help parents/guardians remember to pay student fees.  With no Prom or Homecoming over the last year, however, unfortunately many student fees have gone unpaid.  Please consider this a friendly reminder to check and pay for your child's student fees.  Thank you for your help!  Here is a link to the PaySchools website, and please feel free to reach out to the front office (513-891-0010) for any help or questions.  We greatly appreciate it!

A Note for Our 100% Online Remote Learning Academy Students

As we near the end of the school year, we want to be sure that all RLA students are achieving at their highest levels, which means ensuring work is completed.  RLA Students: Please make sure you are checking and completing assignments according to their due dates. Some assignments that may be listed as "late" or "missing" may unfortunately change to a "zero" in the gradebook.

Due dates to remember as we finish the school year:

For grades 6-11

By 5/14,  please complete all work from Unit 4.

By 5/21, please complete all work from Unit 5.

Seniors:

By 5/14,  please complete all work from Units 4-5.

If you need help figuring out how to do any of this missing work, please pop into one of the help sessions noted in High School Links and Extra Activities and Middle School Links and Extra Activities.  You may also email or BAND-message Ms. Apke or Ms. Hibbett anytime for help.

Ready...Set...Go!
