What's New?
From the Desk of Mr. Drouhard
Dear Amity Families,
We conducted our first fire drill of the year on Tuesday morning. All of our students and staff did a wonderful job of exiting quickly and quietly from the building. We will have drills every month, and will practice a safety drill for lock-downs as well as tornado drills in the spring. We will continue to train and practice our drills in an effort to keep everyone safe!
Take Care,
Josh

In Case You Missed It
Tips To Help With Arrivals and Dismissals
Thank you so much for all your help and patience as we work on arrivals and dismissals daily. We are starting to get into a groove with both, but with some minor tweaks we believe we can improve both processes.
-
Please try to remain in your car when dropping off and picking up students. We realize there might be times that it has to occur, but building a routine where students get out or in the car on their own will help speed processes. Our staff is always there to help.
-
Please pull all the way forward to the furthest cone when entering parking lots. While it might require students to walk a little further, it allows for more cars to enter, and speeds the process.
-
Please don’t park in the staff parking spots in front of the office in the morning. We need to reserve these spots for staff arriving in the morning.
Thank you for also being respectful of our neighbors by not blocking or turning around in their driveways. We appreciate your help!
