Dear Amity Families,
As part of our district’s ongoing focus on school safety, we conducted our February safety drill this morning. A lockdown drill was conducted at 9:00 a.m. today. The drill lasted roughly five minutes and students then returned to their normal academic day. The Deer Park Police Department was on campus to view and support the drill. Our students and staff did a wonderful job of practicing a lockdown. Everything went as planned.
