Instructions for picking up computers

Chromebook pick up at Amity will be Wednesday, April 8th from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. This is for families that shared that they’d like a device to help with distance learning. If you have a device at home, there is no need to come to this pick up. Chromebook pick up will occur at the gym entrance to the back parking lot (pictured below). Please stay in your car and one of our computer technicians will deliver the Chromebook directly to your car. If you are walking to pick-up the device, please remember to follow social distancing norms of staying six feet apart. If you are unable to pick up the device at this time, please contact Mr. Drouhard (drouhard.j@dpccsd.org) to make other arrangements.

Digital Instructions for uploading work

We will be digitally submitting work from the first and second rounds of packets. Instructions on how to do that will be included in the packets, but we have included digital copies of the instructions in the links below. Our teachers will be working this week to send you emails and dojo messages with links to your student’s google folder. Please don’t panic if you haven’t received this link yet, as it is on this week's list of things to get done.

Wifi at Amity

Amity Elementary’s wifi internet is available to students that need access to the internet. Students will need to have the school’s Chromebook to access this internet, as it will connect automatically when the Chromebook comes within the wifi range. Please feel free to drive up to Amity and sit in the parking lot, or your student can walk up and sit close to the building. Please remind your student that they need to maintain six feet from other students who take up this option.
